Affordable Homes of Rice Lake has been providing outstanding service to most of Northwest Wisconsin since 2004. Jake and Kemawin took ownership of the business in 2022 and look forward to continuing to ensure the most seamless home buying process for our customers. Jake was born and raised here in Rice Lake. Chances are if you don’t know Jake personally, you surely know someone “who knows someone that might know one of his family members”.

Now we know Kemawin is a difficult name to pronounce, you will never offend her by asking her to say it twice for you. Kemawin also goes by Kay, just in case you don’t want to give her name a shot. Kemawin was born in a military family and met Jake here at our very own Rice Lake Middle School. Jake and Kemawin were married in April of 2007 while Jake was enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served at duty stations in Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, SD; Moody AFB in Valdosta, Georgia; Osan AFB in Korea; and Offutt AFB in Omaha, Nebraska as an explosive detection dog handler.

Jake spent a lot of the last 15 years deployed overseas all the while missing his family.  Jake and Kemawin have two beautiful girls, Audriana & Alivia. Audriana is active year-round in soccer competing in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Her sister Alivia can be found reading a book or making someone tap out at jiu-jitsu. The Schultz family loves the outdoors, family, and good friends. If you are in the area, just stop in and say “Hello”.
